Dressed like members from Gilligan’s Island, the judges announced the contestants could choose five of their favourite ingredients and cook a dish they could eat for the rest of their lives on a deserted island. Some dishes came under scrutiny from the judges – especially Mat’s rib eye with foie gras and white truffles. It didn’t go down politically well with Matt. However Alana, Billy, Arena, Kumar, Seamus and Danielle impressed the judges, gaining themselves a coveted Top 24 apron.
